Riley HICKS Was Arrested

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, around 2:30 a.m., an officer with the Prince Edward County Detachment was monitoring for traffic issues when she heard a loud dirt bike in the area, followed by an unusual sound and then silence.
The officer located the bike and rider on the sidewalk near the intersection of Bloomfield Main and Stanley Street. Both the bike and the riders helmet showed signs of damage. A signpost nearby was also damaged.
The individual indicated he was not injured and was then arrested and transported to the OPP detachment for testing. He was later taken to hospital as a precaution.
Riley HICKS, age 24 of Prince Edward County, has been charged with:
Operation while impaired
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operate a vehicle without insurance two counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on June 4, 2025.
The individuals drivers licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the dirt bike was impounded for seven days.
