The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on a date in July 2025.
(CRAMAHE TOWNSHIP) Just after 11:30 pm on Tuesday June 3, 2025, police received numerous traffic complaints regarding a grey Toyota Corolla that was observed to be driving erratically eastbound on Highway 401. The vehicle was described as not being able to maintain a lane and hitting the center median. An officer located the vehicle and observed the vehicle to be driving at inconsistent speeds while swerving from one lane into the other. Three cruisers were used to safely conduct a tandem stop on the subject vehicle on the highway off ramp near the Big Apple. An went to speak to the driver and immediately detected an odor of alcohol emanating from the individuals breath. The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and transported back to the OPP Detachment in Cobourg for testing. As a result of the investigation Gregory REUEL (age 34) of Kitchener Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code of Code of Canada with:

The driver was additionally charged under the Liquor License Control Act and the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused was held until sober then released with a date in July 2025 to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
