Destynie TEMPENY Assault With Weapon, Breach

The investigation determined that two individuals became involved in a verbal argument that escalated.
One person brandished an edged weapon during the altercation, and they were subsequently taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Destynie TEMPENY of Dunnville has been charged with the following offences:
Assault with a Weapon
Uttering Threats -Cause Death or Bodily Harm
Failure to Comply with Release Order Other than to Attend Court
Being Intoxicated in a Public Place
The accused is schedule to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on July 29, 2025.
