Drug Bust 2 Arrested

On June 14, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle collision on Petrolia Line, Petrolia, where the involved vehicle fled the scene immediately following the collision.
A short time later, officers located the described vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of Petrolia Line and Plowing Match Road. The vehicle was found unoccupied.
The West Region OPP Canine Unit was deployed and successfully tracked and located two individuals nearby, who were identified as the vehicles occupants.
Both individuals were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Rhys BRESETT, 43-years-old of Sarnia and Kevin PLAIN, 58-years-old of no fixed address, have been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Opioid.
The accused have been released from police custody and are schedule to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia, on August 13, 2025.
