On Friday May 16,2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m. the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted MNR with a traffic stop of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on Highway 570 in the Township of Sesekinika. Upon speaking with the driver, officers determined the individual had consumed an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake OPP Detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Robert PIETRASIK, a 61-year-old from Maisonville Township, has been charged with:
· Operation while impaired by alcohol
· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS). The accused was released from custody and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on June 5, 2025.
