GREER Drunk Driving

On Wednesday June 4,2025, at 11:45 p.m. the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision, where the driver reported the collision was due to avoiding wildlife on Highway 672, in Arnold Township. Upon speaking with the driver, officers determined the individual had consumed an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Ryan GREER, a 29-year-old from Tarzwell Township, has been charged with:
· Operation while impaired by alcohol
· Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. The accused was released from custody and is next scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on July 3, 2025.
