19 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested For Assault, Threats, etc.

Investigation determined that a dispute between intimate partners led to an assault, where a handgun was brandished. The accused was taken into custody after a brief struggle with police. The handgun was seized and determined to be an imitation.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old individual from Arran-Elderslie has been charged with:
Assault, CC 266
Uttering threats to cause death, CC 264.1(1)(a) three counts
Fail to comply with release order, CC 145(5)(a) two counts
Assault with intent to resist arrest, CC 270(1)(b)
Pointing a firearm, CC 87
Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose, CC 88
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
