$145,000 Drug Bust Name Released

On July 15, 2025, members of the North East Region CSCU assisted by West Parry Sound OPP Detachment and West Parry Sound OPP Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a residence on Gibson Street in the Town of Parry Sound.
A search of the residence, officers seized Canadian currency along with gold bars valued at over $30,000 and a quantity of drugs suspected to be cocaine, heroin and Hydromorphone with an estimated street value of $145,000.
Also located was silverware stolen from Trinity Anglican Church in Parry Sound in February 2024.
Larry FENTON, 50-years-of-age of Parry Sound was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking heroin
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking other opioid 6 counts
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 2 counts
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00
The accused was held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and is scheduled to appear on July 16, 2025.
