The male driver appeared to be heavily intoxicated and was arrested for Impaired Driving. He was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two samples of his breath. The readings confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol level that was more than double the legal limit.
As a result, Catlin DAER (19) of Bluewater has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving, one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol, one count of Dangerous Driving and one count of Flight from Police. He will answer to these charges in the Ontario Court of Justice β Goderich on July 26, 2010. His driversβ licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
