Drug Bust: MARTIN & SUTHERLAND

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, officers executed a CDSA search warrant at a residence in Moosonee. During the execution of the warrant, police seized six grams of suspected fentanyl, 11 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, with an estimated street value of $2000.
As a result, two persons were charged.
Tyson MARTIN, 39 years-of-age, and June SUTHERLAND, 30 years-of-age, both of Moosonee, have been charged with:
Possession of a schedule I substance for purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine
The accused persons were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 5, 2026, in Moosonee.
