Mitchell HARRIS Facing Numerous Charges

On March 6, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver on Main Street in Grand Bend.
As a result of the investigation, Mitchell HARRIS, a 37-year-old of South Huron, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
Fail to comply with Probation Order (two counts)
Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code (seven counts)
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl (two counts)
Possession of a Schedule I for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Drive while under suspension
A 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody. They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on March 12, 2026, in the City of Sarnia.
