On July 28, 2012 the Wingham Police arrested an area man for sexual assaulting a young girl.
The Wingham police should be commended for doing an excellent job and doing it with sensitivity. Due to the incredibly poor judgement of one person, this person is now out on bail.
All landlords and property managers are urged to increase screening and reference checks.
Parents and caregivers are urged to keep a close eye on their children and do not leave them unattended.
Children are encouraged to seek safety at a Block Parent home if they are approached by a stranger.
This man is reportedly in the Wingham Area, and was bailed out by a Winghamite.
