Officers determined that the 31-year-old female driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests. The breath tests revealed that the driver had more than three (3) times the legal limit of alcohol in her blood.
As a result of the police investigation, Kurstin HEYERMAN, of Aylmer, Ontario, has been charged with Driving While Ability impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused's vehicle and drivers licence were seized for 7 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on March 6, 2018.
