Shortly after 6:00 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted of a motor vehicle bearing stolen licence plates. Investigation and teamwork led to the arrest of the two occupants.
Twenty-four-year old Travis WAND of Palmerston was arrested and charged with:
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle;
Flight From Police;
Drive While Disqualified;
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
Possession of Methamphetamine;
Fail to Comply With Probation
He was held for a bail hearing.
Thirty-two-year old Tracey-Lynn DUNCAN of Elmira was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
Possession of Methamphetamine;
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
Fail to Comply With Probation
She was released on a Promise to Appear. Both are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
