Naloxone Used To Save Life In Tillsonburg

Officers arrived shortly after 8:00 p.m. on September 29, 2018. The female was located at the residence without vital signs and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was performed. The female remained unresponsive at which time an officer administered Naloxone.
Paramedics transported the female to hospital where the 24-year-old female was stabilized and is recuperating.
Naloxone can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose. OPP officers are equipped with a Naloxone kit and are trained to use it in an emergency.
