Truck Vs Train Collision - Alcohol A Factor

An initial Police investigation revealed that a vehicle attempted to beat the activated lights at the railway crossing. Through further investigation officers determined the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol.
The driver was cleared by Paramedics with minor injuries and transported back to the Huronia West Detachment for breath test, where he provided two suitable samples of breath registering 200 and 190 mg/100ml of blood.
44 year old Michael OHLSCHLAGER of Highland Grove, ON is charged with:
CC 320/14(1)(b) Adult Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
HTA 163 Disobey railway crossing signal- fail to stop
