Hit And Run Involving Transport Truck - Drunk Driving Charge Laid

(ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) - On September 17, 2019 at 8:05 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fail to remain crash in the town of Chesley. A transport truck had struck a parked vehicle and then continued driving through Chesley. A South Bruce OPP officer on patrol located the truck on Bruce County Road 10 in Elderslie Township. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. Forty-eight-year old Bradley KRAMPIEN from the Township of Georgian Bluffs was charged with impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 16, 2019 to answer to the charge. There were no injuries reported.
